Ah, yes. Another night, another soul. Poor old man Hanson. What a sweet old man, Ruby referred as she hung her red cloak up on a little coatrack near her and her arguably best friend's front door. She was happy, though, as she had walked him to Heaven as she had his wife, and now they were together. It was very sweet. Sighing pleasantly and, sure Anastasia was not home just yet, undid the buttons of her blouse as she walked to her room with the intention to change into a comfortable t-shirt. Maybe make some tea when she was done.

Anastasia entered not long after,she looked a little disheveled and she had a bit of blood splattered over her person,but she looked content. It hadn't been a clean kill,or particularly easy. She sighed and kicked off her shoes before entering into her bedroom to get cleaned up. "Ruby,you home?" She called.

And I went to see the circus and it was hella rad. uwu))

Oh, speak of the Devil! Ruby was just thinking about her.
"Yeah!" she called back from her closet. She slipped off her shirt and the majority of her layers of undergarments--which was quite the relief--and pulled on a t-shirt and pajama pants. Ruby came back downstairs and greeted her friend with a cheerful grin and a wave. "Hey! Well, you just look stunning." Her gaze traveled up and down to observe the blood splatters.

Anastasia hung her coat on the rack near the door and smiled at Ruby. "Oh why thank you." She smirked. "Havent you heard that blood splatters are very in style?" She teased as she walked up stairs. "I'm going to go clean up real quick." She said and headed towards her room.

"Oh, of course. Wasn't that on the cover of Vogue?" She giggled lightly and nodded. "Okay, I'm going to make some tea. Come down and grab some when you're ready!" At that, Ruby herself made her way back and into the kitchen, setting up a kettle of tea on the little stove top and letting it heat. She hummed a cheery tune and cut up two apples into bite size pieces as a snack as she waited.

"Of course,where else would I find fashion from!" She chuckled before entering her room and stripping off her clothes. She washed off her face and hands before pulling on some sweats and a tank top. She headed back downstairs and into the kitchen. She sat at the table and awaited snack time.

Ruby danced around the kitchen cheerily in front of Anastasia, giving her a giggle and a smile every time she twirled by. After only a few minutes, everything was ready, and Ruby sat a mug of tea in front of Anastasia, one in front of her, and the apples on a paper plate in the middle, then sat down. "Bon appetit, ma chérie." She smiles and raises her tea mug up to her friend for a toast, leaning forward with her elbows resting on the table.

Anastasia grinned as she watched Ruby dance around,amauzed "You are so adorable." She smirked. "Merci!" She responded with a smile as she raised her mug as well and clinked it against Rubys. "Heres too another exciting day in the lives of Anastasia and Ruby." She chuckled and took a sip.

Ruby gave a little wink and sipped hers as well, longer than Anastasia's, which left a little mustache of tea on her lip. "Indeed, ma chérie. The most exciting, amazing, titillating, rousing, et cetera lives of anyone who have ever existed ever. In all eternity."

She smirked and sipped her tea again. "You've got a little something on your upper lip,sir." She sneered. "Yes,precisely what our lives are."

"Eh? Oh, okay." Ruby dropped her smile to lick the top of her lip a few times to get it off. "Thanks. But they really are! You came home covered in blood in all those layers of combat clothes. Now, I mean, you don't have nearly as much on. We almost look normal." She shuddered in mock disgust at the thought.

"You're good." She smirked "I know,my vouge blood splattered work clothes are so faboulous. Feels pretty strange looking so normal." She said in teasing mock disgust as well.

"Thanks." Ruby grinned, taking another sip and biting into an apple slice. She kept talking with her mouth full, a bad habit of hers. "I meansh, sherioushly! You look shuper hot in those clothesh, girlfriend, sho hot."

"Ruby,chew and swallow before you talk." She reminded her lightly. "But why thank you,can I could be a vogue model,right?" She laughed and tossed her hair dramatically over her shoulder and gave her most smoldering look.

Ruby's eyes widened and her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Oh, yeah. Shorry." She swallowed, took a sip of tea, then giggled and held up her hands in the shape they would hold a camera. She made "ca-chink" sounds and pretended to press the top, like she was taking pictures of the 'model'. "Yes, darling, yes. Sexier. More passion. Look at the camera."

She grinned when she blushed "No problem." She stuck her tongue out. She posed and flipped her hair dramaticly while makeing various silly and smoldering faces at the camera "Work work fashion baby." She giggled.

"Work it, girl. Time for your close up. " Ruby stood from her seat and leaned over the table, holding the 'camera' at her chest and taking pictures from the new angle.

She giggled and leaned over the table,holding herself up by her elbows. She grinned,now close to Rubys face. "How bout a kiss for the camera?" She asked and pressed her lips lightly to Rubys face.

Ruby chuckled as well, assuming this was all in good fun and friendliness, and gave her friend a kiss on the cheek. "Of course, ma chérie! You are a very darling model."

"And you,sweet cheeks, are a fabulous photographer." She grinned,kissing her again,this time on the lips. Perhaps she'd get the message.

Oh her god.
"Oh my god!" she exclaimed, pushing herself back--not in disgust, but shock. Sadly, though, she pushed herself so much she tipped the chair all the way back and falling on the floor with a yelp of pain.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry." She said,jumping up and over to where Ruby had fell over. "Are you ok?" She asked.

"I-I-I'm fine!" Ruby affirmed, nodding. "I-I've been through...m-many worse things, y-you know." Was she stuttering? She had never done that before. As well feel so...fluttery. She didn't meet Anastasia's eyes, but put out her hand in request for her to help her up.

"You sure?" She asked as she hoisted her up. She smilled,it was pretty adorable how she was smilling. I didn't mean to startle you or make you uncomfortable or anything.." She said softly.
