It was around ten o'clock in the morning and Monica stopped into her favorite coffee shop for her morning brew. She stopped in at this quaint little coffee shop almost every morning before heading off to the university near by where she had been attending for two years now. A grin crawled across her face when she realised that they where now selling sesonal drinks. Fall was her absolute favorite season! Of course she order a pumpkin spice latte and a pumpkin muffin. It was tradition.

Amana, barely seeming to care what she had for breakfast, made her way into a nearby coffee shop she'd never been to. Her eyes rolled when she noticed that they were selling pumpkin flavoured everything and she paused to wonder if they had gone as far as to wear pumpkin flavoured underwear. Shaking her head at what she found to be a waste of monkey, she walked about to the counter and ordered something normal

Pumpkins, as delicious as they were, were the epitome of her headaches in the middle of October. It was pumpkin lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin smoothies, pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin. It was as if pumpkins became the epicenter of all things festive during the fall. She had even been coerced by her coworkers into wearing the pumpkin earrings her mother gave her for her 12 birthday. Leaning against the sweets display, Lilliana slipped the earrings out of her lobes, setting them beside her keys under the register. 8 o'clock came faster than she anticipated, the slow stream of people exploding into a flood the gates just couldn't hold back. Within minutes, her carefully crafted ponytail was limp, strands hanging down around her face in thick blonde curls. Life at a cafe was hard. It was hard and nobody understood.

((Omg lizz did you just))
Monica watched the sudden rush of people flood in a she waited for her latte to be made. Seems like she wasn't the only one hyped about the pumpkin epidemic of October. More then half of the orders she overheard where for something seasonal. She wondered if the employes of this coffee shop got tired on pumpkin flavored scents constantly invading there nostrils.Did they get sick of it? That would be silly how could you ever get tired of pumpkin flavored everything. Once she had tecived her drink she went to take a seat near the window.

Amana took time in deciding upon her order, sighing and glancing at her options with her usual level of disinterest. She wondered if she should have just gone somewhere else, like a grocery store. She could have just gotten ingredients and tried to cook something for herself, but then there was the fact she had worked over night and was exhausted, meaning she'd probably set her short hair on fire if she even went near the stove. She glanced at a girl passing by with pumpkin everything and scowled, wondering what the point of that was before letting her gaze fall on a worker

"Sell anything that's not completely awful?" She paused, eyeing her choices again "Or pumpkin flavoured"

With a quirked brow, Lilliana gave an impressed grunt. "I think you're the first person today to ask for anything not pumpkiny. Kudos." Leaning forward with her elbow balanced on the register and her chin cupped in her palm, she gave a mighty sigh. "Our most popular, unseasonal drinks are the ice coffees and mochas. I took the liberty of drawing a pumpkin in front of the seasonal drinks and snacks." There wasn't much for snacks, though, she had brought in a red velvet cake and several red velvet cupcakes as a reserve for those brave enough to stray from the pumpkin path of fall festivities.

Monica absent mindedly sipped her drink and gazed at passers by. She hummed quietly to herself and nibbled on her pumpkin muffin. She was soon lost in her own thoughts.

((doesnt know is sorry))
